Lone Star Taste stared as a vision in a living room with friends in Dublin, TX about 2010. The vision was to have a store dedicated to Texas made food products. It took five years for the store to become a reality. The store opened in July of 2015 and grew over the next two years. Little did I know that in August of 2017 everything would change due to hurricane Harvey. Even with the best-efforts including boarding up and sandbagging the doors the store had over 2 feet of water. Through the efforts of the building owner and some hard work, the store reopned in mid November of 2017. Over the next few months I realized there needed to be a substantial change in what was in the original verstion, if the store was to survive. Over the next few years the store slowly changed into what you see today, includng a major remodel and expantion in 2021.
